We kick off the first of back to back Nuclear Series and NMA Qualifier weekends with a great looking Memorial Day weekend coming up!  Open ride on Friday, Groomed track practice on Saturday, and Nuclear Series round 4 Sunday.

Look for a few changes this weekend.  We have a new sand section replacing the clay rollers heading up to the Monster Energy water tank.  Also look for a modified and improved flowing first turn.  Look for a few changes on the finish line section of the Hilltop track as well.

Nuke 3 Report

Round three is on!  We have been busy.  Look for changes to vendor row, the first turn, the start line jump, and incorporation of mulch into the track.  If the weather permits we will be running the "back drop away section" as well.

Long version of the story: It is flooding everywhere around Byron and surrounding areas.  We had a rediculous amount of rain over the past two weeks.  The rain has stopped and the park is located on high ground so no standing water.  It rained so hard it washed away all the mud.  We are out rebuilding the park Friday and Saturday morning.  We will open the gates later that usual on Saturday to allow parking to firm up as much as possible.  The tracks will be good, and we will probably have to water on Sunday.

Weekeend schedule:

Saturday gates open 11am, Open Practice 12pm-4pm, Gates close 11pm

Sunday gates open 6:30am, signup 7am, riders meeting starts promptly at 8:30am, practice and racing to follow.
